Privacy policy

This policy applies to Family Media Drive Connector, a personal-use Google Drive connection for a private family Jellyfin library.

Access and purpose

With the account owner's consent, the application requests Google Drive access to list, read, upload, modify and delete files. The permission can cover the account's entire Drive; the configured media library uses selected folders. Account identity and storage quota may be read to verify the connection and available capacity.

Storage and use

OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored in restricted files on the privately administered server. File metadata, media information, operational logs and temporary file caches may also be stored there to support mounting, playback and maintenance. Google Drive remains the cloud file store. Access may be revoked or expire.

Sharing

Google processes API requests and stores cloud files. The server hosting provider supplies the infrastructure used to operate the connection and caches. Selected media is served to authenticated family members through Jellyfin. The application does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Control and removal

The account owner can revoke the application's access in Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not itself remove existing server caches or copies. Contact the person who administers your family library directly to request removal of stored credentials, caches or other server-held data. Deleting a cloud file is separate from revoking authorization.

Website

These static information pages contain no login form, analytics scripts or advertising trackers. The web server and infrastructure may process ordinary request information, including IP addresses, for delivery, operations and security.
